recipe : peanut butter + chocolate smoothie
This healthy, nutrient-packed vegan Peanut Butter Chocolate + Banana smoothie is more like a treat than a nutritious breakfast or snack. I love this smoothie and make it almost daily. But, as a vegan, I get it if you think I may have just acquired a taste for a "green" smoothie such as this one over the years. So don't take my word for it - the fact that our 3 year-old reaches for this and devours it every time I make it should stand for something. ;) He loves it! And so will you! I leave the Matcha powder out of his and just add it to mine.
But he does love it with a scoop of the Green SuperFood, which is super healthy. Or, if you prefer, just try it with the almond milk and vegan protein powder then ease your way into the additional options. I love Plant Fusion's vegan protein powder in chocolate! It took me a long time to find a vegan protein powder that doesn't have a chalky taste/consistency and this one is the clear winner.
